The town mayor disclosed that his case is considered a "mild" one and he has been feeling better since Friday, but still needs to undergo self-quarantine as guided in a directive by the Department of Health.
"Napakaingat ko po, pero dito makikita na walang pinipili ang COVID-19. Gusto kong mag-ingat po kayong lahat. Walang pinipili ang sakit na ito," Gacula said.
(I am an overly cautious person, so it is evident from my experience that COVID-19 can affect anyone. I urge you to take care of yourselves. This virus can affect anyone.)
Gacula said he has been working from home and assured Taytay residents that will still continue to receive relief.
He added that Taytay Emergency Hospital is still accepting patients and wet markets remain fully operational.
