Tagaytay City's 1st COVID-19 case is a medical frontliner

By Jinky Lou Tabor TAGAYTAY CITY, Cavite - The Tagaytay City government has reported its first coronavirus disease (COVID-19) case in a 29-year-old medical frontliner. Mayor Agnes Tolentino said the patient works for a hospital in Tagaytay and is a resident in a condominium in Barangay Silang Crossing East. The patient has a history of travel to Barangay San Jose. The City Health Office is now conducting contract tracing of those who have been in contact with the medical frontliner. The local government has called on all residents to stay home, observe physical distancing, and to always wash their hands. Persons with symptoms of COVID 19 like fever, cough, and difficulty in breathing are advised to immediately inform the Barangay Health Emergency and Response Teams or the City Health Office through the COVID-19 hotline number 09307636055. A total lockdown is already implemented in Ayala Serin compound and Lanting Street in Barangay San Jose Nobody will be allowed to come in and out of these areas. Nearby residents are also advised to strictly stay home.
