SMC turns over 15-room COVID-19 facility to WestMinCom

By Nonoy Lacson ZAMBOANGA CITY - A 15-room coronavirus disease (COVID-19) emergency quarantine facility donated by San Miguel Corporation was turned over to the Western Mindanao Command on Wednesday, April 22. (WestMinCom / MANILA BULLETIN) (WestMinCom / MANILA BULLETIN) Armed Forces of the Philippines-Western Mindanao Command (AFP-WestMinCom) Commander Lt. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana said the turn-over ceremony was held at Camp Arturo T. Enrile, Malagutay in this city where the facility was built. "Even though we are still in the middle of a crisis, we believe that we can achieve more when we do things together," said Mr. Cyril Palono, San Miguel Corp. representative. The highlights of the activity were the signing and acceptance of the turn-over documents/deed of donation and blessing of the facility. "During this time of turmoil, we really need to converge all our efforts. We have to fight as one so that we will heal as one," Sobejana said. "We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to San Miguel Corporation for the support and assistance they extended, which truly motivate us to continue this battle against our invisible enemy," Sobejana said.
