Robredo's office on Friday said that about 10,000 test kits, which include detection and extraction kits, will be distributed to various hospitals in the country as the OVP aims "to further help in COVID-19 testing efforts."
The test kits, according to the OVP, will be delivered to the following hospitals: San Lazaro Hospital, Lung Center of the Philippines, V. Luna Hospital and Bicol Regional Diagnostic and Reference Laboratory.
The money used to purchase the UP-developed kits was generated through the OVP's funds, the Robredo's office said.
Previously, the OVP already delivered P5.3 million worth of extraction kits to the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM).
