Remulla confirms 6th COVID-19 case in Cavite

IMUS, Cavite – A 48-year-old man from the municipality of Tanza was confirmed to be Cavite’s sixth coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patient.

The confirmation was made by Governor Juanito Victor “Jonvic” Remulla Jr. on Wednesday, March 18, who added that the patient was already confined at a health facility in Caviet.

Remulla’s announcement came only a few hours after another 48-year-old man from Bacoor City was admitted at the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) in Muntinlupa. Metro Manila’.

The simultaneous reports were made by Remulla only a day after he announced two other confirmed COVID-19 cases in Imus City and neighboring Dasmarinas City.

This developed as Remulla, himself, said he was now considering himself as a person under monitoring (PUM) after he attended a meeting on COVID-19 mitigation measures last Monday where one of the attendees was experiencing fever.

The governor said he has already submitted himself for testing, and his samples have already been sent to RITM.
