They were fetched by their respective local government units (LGUs), and municipal or city health offices. They were taken to quarantine facilities where they will stay for 14 days.
Governor Amado I. Espino III directed the Provincial Health Office (PHO) to conduct mass testing for these stranded Pangasinenses. While awaiting results, they will be placed under quarantine in their respective municipal and city quarantine facilities.
The stranded Pangasinenses underwent the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests using nasopharyngeal and oropharyngeal swabbing on the same day they were allowed entry into the province. Police at the border were still strictly implementing enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) protocols. Meanwhile, the provincial government distributed relief packs to all the Pangasinense allowed to re-enter the province.
