PNP postpones recruitment processing

By MB Online The Philippine National Police (PNP) announced on Sunday that the resumption of recruitment processing is postponed until further notice. Philippine National Police (MANILA BULLETIN) Philippine National Police (MANILA BULLETIN) PNP posted an advisory on its official page, stating the reasons why the resumption of recruitment processing is postponed:
  • Pendency of the IATF Clearance on passage of our applicants from one border to another;
  • Difficulty of completion of documentary requirements of applicants/recruits; and
  • Policy amendments and health concerns of applicants raised by NAPOLCOM Directors.
This latest announcement apparently supersedes the earlier statement of PNP spokesperson Police Brig. Gen. Bernard Banac on Saturday that the police organization planned to resume the training programs and recruitment of new cops starting June 1.
