PH embassy reminds Filipinos in US to follow all health protocols

By Rizal Obanil Filipinos in the United States were advised by the Philippine Embassy in Washington to follow all health protocols on coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). “We have advised our nationals to strictly follow the protocols instituted by the local officials in their respective communities. We have strongly encouraged them to adhere to CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) guidelines and be circumspect in believing and sharing unverified information,” the advisory read. The US recently experienced a spike in the number COVID-19 cases prompting many states to enforce stringent health protocols to prevent the spread of the deadly disease. According to data from the Philippine Embassy in Washington, there are around 3.4 million Filipinos in the US. Filipinos have been advised to coordinate with the embassy in their area for inquiries and requests for assistance from the Philippine government.#
