The petition of Tiburcio Marcos against presidential aspirant Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr has been dismissed by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) Second Division.

The matrix provided by the Comelec on Tuesday, Feb. 8, showed that the "petition has been dismissed."
It added that the notice and order were already sent to the parties on Jan. 31.
The poll body didn't provide a copy of the decision.
The petition of Tiburcio Marcos seeks to cancel the certificate of candidacy (COC) of the former senator.
Last year, the poll body also dismissed the petition of Danilo Lihaylihay seeking to declare Marcos as a nuisance candidate.
On Jan. 17, the Comelec Second Division junked the petition of Fr. Christian Buenafe et al seeking to cancel the COC of Marcos Jr.
