Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto on Thursday, May 28, said that they recently tested 892 people from a barangay in the city which had the highest number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases.

Sotto, in a Facebook post, said that from the said number (892), 16 were reactive while four were tested positive for COVID-19.
The local chief executive thanked Project ARK for providing 2,500 rapid testing kits.
Sotto said that the mass testing in Barangay Sagad to ensure that the pandemic does not spread further in their locality.
Just a few days ago, Sotto made an appeal to his constituents to coordinate with the city government if they have information on anyone who might be infected by the dreaded disease and may need to be brought to one of their quarantine facilities.
He assured that those who test positive will be required to stay in a quarantine facility until he or she is cleared to return home through a confirmatory test.
