PAL mounts 2 special flights to London for British travelers

  By Ariel Fernandez Philippine Airlines will be mounting two special flights from Manila to London Heathrow on Tuesday, April 7. Cielo Villaluna, PAL spokesperson, said the Manila to London flights are organized by the British Embassy Manila. They are only available to British travelers, normally residents in the UK, who wish to return home. British travelers can purchase tickets through the dedicated booking portal set up by the Embassy. Full details are on the Foreign & Commonwealth Office’s travel advice page for the Philippines: https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/philippines/return-to-the-uk April 7, 2020 PR 720 - Manila (Terminal 2) to London Heathrow Departing at 12:00 PM (noon) Arriving at 7:00 PM April 7, 2020 PR 8722 - Manila (Terminal 2) to London Heathrow Departing at 1:00 PM Arriving at 8:00 PM Both flights will use Boeing 777-300ER aircraft with a capacity of 370 seats and depart from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2. All stated times are local times. Despite the ongoing pause in operations until April 14, PAL is operating these special one-off services to assist in flying stranded travelers home. "We shall coordinate closely with government authorities and adhere to strict global health protocols in the interest of the health and safety of all our passengers and crew members," Villaluna said.
