P350K 'shabu' seized; high-value individual arrested in Calamba drug sting
LAGUNA – Authorities arrested a high-value individual in a buy-bust operation in Calamba City on Friday, March 24.
A statement from Laguna Police Provincial Office (PPO) identified the suspect as alias Norman, a resident of Cabuyao City.
Confiscated during the operation conducted bythe Calamba City Police Station (CPS) were three plastic sachets containing suspected “shabu” with a total estimated street value of P353,600.
Alias Norman is now under the custody of Calamba CPS and is facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The pieces of evidence were submitted to the crime laboratory for forensic examination.
In a statement, Laguna PPO Director Col. Randy Glenn G. Silvio said information from concerned citizens was vital in the success of the sting operation.
