Routes of free shuttle service for health workers and frontliners provided by the Office of the Vice President (OVP) have been expanded.
This will enable them to perform their duties relating to the COVID-19 outbreak while public transport remains suspended due to enhanced quarantine measures.
In a Facebook post, Vice President Leni Robredo said the additional route that was added last Monday passes more hospitals in Metro Manila.
The new bus route starts at SM Masinag in Antipolo and ends at Taft Avenue corner United Nations Avenue in Manila.
The hospitals covered by the OVP’s shuttle service are: St. Luke’s Medical Center, National Children’s Hospital, De Los Santos Medical Center, and UERM Medical Center, National Orthopedic Hospital, Fe Del Mundo Medical Center, and United Doctors Medical Center, all located in Quezon City.
Also covered are UST Hospital, Manila Doctors Hospital, and Medical Center Manila.
Robredo said that the OVP’s free shuttle service complements similar services provided by the Department of Transportation (DOTr).
