“We could have conducted 400 COVID-19 tests per day. Napakarami na sanang natulungan, mas marami na sana tayong na-test, mas marami na tayong nagamot, mas marami na tayong nailigtas. Halos isang buwan na kami naghihintay. (We could have already helped a lot of people, tested, treated and helped them get well),” Teodoro said in an interview Friday over GMA-7’s Dobol B sa News TV.
The Marikina mayor said that they have scheduled inspections with the DOH, however, for some reason, the inspection team would not be able to come.
Whenever they follow up on their request, they would be told that someone will contact them.
When the inspection team finally arrived, Teodoro said that he asked the head when they could expect the results of the inspection to come out.
The Marikina mayor said that they would receive the results via email and that they need just wait for it.
Despite not having the DOH approval yet, Teodoro said that they are working on memorandums of agreement with the local governments of Rizal and Quezon City to allow these LGUs to use the same facilities for COVID-19 tests.
