Nueva Ecija's wanted person arrested in Las Piñas City

A man who went into hiding for eight years for rape charges was arrested by the combined team of the Nueva Ecija Provincial Police Office (PPO), Gapan Municipal Police station, and the Las Piñas police Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) on Sunday, March 26.   The suspect, identified as Joel Lasic, 50, was arrested at around 1:00 p.m.  in Barangay Talon Uno, Las Piñas City.    The police served the warrant of arrest ssued by Judge Judge Celso O. Baguio of Gapan City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 34 to Lasic.   The warrant of arrest was issued on June 10, 2015 with no bail recommended.   The suspect was detained at the Gapan police custodial facility after his arrest.
