"Talagang may pag-asa laban sa COVID-19 (There is really hope against COVID-19)," Domagoso wrote on Facebook.
The patient is a resident of Manila and is the first one to be released from the quarantine facility.
The stadium, which also underwent major renovation in time for the 30th Southeast Asian Games last year, was recently converted into a quarantine center with a 112-bed capacity.
The other "We Heal as One Centers" that are operational and ready to accept patients are the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), World Trade Center, the ASEAN Convention Center in Clark, Pampanga, the National Government Administrative Center, and the Athletes' Village in New Clark City, Capas, Tarlac.
Also to be completed soon are the Philippine Sports Arena or ULTRA, the Philippine Arena, and the Filinvest Tent in Muntinlupa City.
