nCoV-positive Filipino in UAE in 'stable' condition

By Andrea Aro A Filipino in UAE who has been afflicted by the 2019 novel coronavirus acute respiratory disease (nCoV ARD) is now in “stable” condition, the Philippine Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) said Tuesday. (Our fellow Filipino is stable, and has no history of lung, heart, or respiratory disease.) Reports said the Filipino tested positive for the coronavirus that has infected 42,638 people and killed 1,016. Quintana gave the assurance that “He’s been given maximum support by the health authorities in UAE.” However, authorities did not disclose how the Filipino got infected by the viral disease. Filipinos in UAE were reminded to be careful and follow hygiene protocols, Quintina said.
