More Pfizer doses arrive in PH

A total of 940,680 doses of Pfizer were delivered to the country as the national government continues to increase the supply to cover as many Filipinos in its vaccination program.

The new Pfizer supply was bought by the government and arrived in the country on Wednesday night.

A total of 811,980 doses were delivered to Pharmaserv Express’ cold-chain facility in Marikina City, while the remaining 128,700 doses were shipped to Cebu.

Some 1,772,500 doses of Pfizer vaccine purchased by the government are also expected to arrive on Friday evening.

Like the previous batch, it will be immediately delivered to the cold-chain facility of PharmaServ Express, the Filipino-owned cold-chain firm that serves as the government’s national cold-chain and logistics partner.
