The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Medical Center in Quezon City on Sunday said the hospital now has under its care patients being observed for the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV).

AFP Public Affairs Office (PAO) Health Service Command spokesman Capt. Sherwin Joseph Sarmiento told GMA News Network that the persons under investigation (PUI) are isolated in the infectious ward section.
However, the number of PUIs has not been disclosed.
Sarmiento explained that individuals with travel history to China, Hong Kong, and Macau and who exhibit flu-like symptoms are identified as persons under investigation (PUI), while those with only travel history are persons under monitoring (PUMs).
He added that the AFP Medical Center has an infectious ward that is isolated, and doctors assigned there are also quarantined.
