At least two Metro Manila mayors have revealed that that they were in favor of a shift to Alert Level 1 in the metropolis even as the OCTA Research Group said that the positivity rate in Metro Manila has already dipped below the World Health Organization’s (WHO) benchmark.
In other fronts, the Philippine National Police (PNP) will be joining the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in investigating the disappearance of 29 cockfighting aficionados; the lawyers of community physician Dr. Maria Natividad Castro have filed a bail petition for her release; and the Philippines was tagged as the fourth most targeted country by cybercriminals.
This, as tensions continued to rise in eastern Europe with Russia moving closer to invading Ukraine, with the Philippines needing to send a team from Poland to ensure the safety of Filipinos still in the embattled nation.
