Mayor Isko warns that he will not hesitate to lockdown barangays not strictly implementing quarantine protocols

The local chief executive said that the city needs to take a stringent measures against the outbreak, especially now that the city has already had 859 confirmed COVID-19 cases. "Ngayon, mas maingat kami at mas responsibleng gobyerno ang mararamdanan nila, at umaasa ang gobyerno na mas responsableng mamamayan sila (Now, our residents will be able to feel a more careful and responsible government. And we trust our constituents that they will also become responsible)," he said. Recently, the local government imposed a 48-hour hard lockdown due to its high COVID-19 cases. During the course of the lockdown, no residents are allowed to go outside their houses, even to buy provisions, except for those exempted workers.
