Mandaluyong hospital on COVID-19 maximum capacity

However, the hospital will continue to provide COVID-19 testing for outpatients in its annex or in the emergency room, if warranted, while patients requiring admission shall be assisted in finding a suitable hospital for confinement. "Our annexunit has performed has triage for over a thousand persons under monitoring (PUM) and PUIs and just like other hospitals, every day, our emergency room receives more and more apparent COVID-19 patients," VRP said. They also mentioned that the last two weeks have been the most worrisome, for the hospital due to some patients being dishonest about their travel and medical history thereby putting its healthcare workers at risk. The suspension of public transport due to the enhanced community quarantine has also measures has also caused understaffing. The VRP Medical Center as of Wednesday has eight confirmed cases ofCOVID-19, with 17 other PUIs admitted.
