Another fire broke out in Muntinlupa, razing two houses and injuring a man.Â
The Muntinlupa City Fire Station reported that the fire hit a house at the Southville 3 government housing project in Barangay Poblacion at 10:22 a.m. on March 27.Â

The fire razed two houses, affecting two families or 10 individuals. The cost of damage was placed at P30,000. The injured was identified as Romeo Mojon, 60, who suffered abrasions on the right leg and back, and a cut on the left eyebrow. Investigators said the fire started from the attic of the house. The occupants were identified as Preciosa Paracale and her family. The fire reached the first alarm at 10:30 a.m. and was put out at 10:42 a.m. The cause of the fire is under investigation. This is the fourth fire incident in Muntinlupa in a week. Last March 25, a 60-year-old woman died in a fire at No. 329 San Guillermo Street in Purok 4, Barangay Bayanan. On March 24, two kids were injured when a fire razed a home in Ayala Alabang Village, damaging P24 million worth of properties. A fire also hit a building of Amalgamated Specialties Corporation (Amspec), a leading school and office supplies manufacturer, on Km. 21, West Service Road in Barangay Cupang.Â
