Malabon City starts COVID-19 vaccine rollout

The local government of Malabon City launched on Friday, March 5, its coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccination program.

The symbolic program was attended by Mayor Lenlen Oreta and other officials of Ospital ng Malabon (OSMAL).

OSMAL's healthcare workers will receive China’s Sinovac vaccines.

OSMAL chief Dra. Mitzi Tanchoco was the first medical frontliner to receive the Sinovac jab in the city.

Oreta reminded his constituents to continue observing health protocols to avoid the further transmission of the virus.

'Wag sana nating balewalain ang mga sakripisyo na patuloy nating ginagawa laban sa COVID-19. Please continue to take all the precautionary steps para manatiling ligtas sa gitna ng pandemic (Let us not put to waste the sacrifices we continue to make (in the fight) against COVID-19.
