LTFRB: not all PUVs will be allowed in GCQ

Dahil alam po natin na kahit mareclassify for example in Metro Manila from ECQ to GCQ, hindi naman po lahat ng mga dating mga mananakay eh makakalabas ng bahay at biya-biyahe,” he explained in an interview Tuesday morning on GMA 7’s Unang Hirit. (So this means that there will still be people who will not be allowed to go out, and the activities of those that will allowed to go out will be limited) “So we’re anticipating that the demand for public transport would be lower than before,” the LTFRB chief added. He also said that based on the guidelines set by the Interagency Task Force (IATF), all public utility vehicles that will be allowed to operate at half their capacity. This, he said, is part of the government’s efforts to ensure proper social distancing and in adherence to the guidelines for the “new normal” for public transport.
