LRT-1 launches donation drive for Taal evacuees

The Light Rail Manila Corporation is accepting donations for Taal eruption evacuees starting Tuesday, January 21. (MANILA BULLETIN FILE PHOTO) (MANILA BULLETIN FILE PHOTO) Donations can be dropped off  at the following LRT-1 stations:
  •  Baclaran
  • Central Terminal
  • Doroteo Jose
  • Monumento
  • Balintawak
  • Roosevelt
The public is encouraged to donate the following:
  • Hygiene kits
  • Clothes
  • Underwear
  • Drinking water
  • Medicine
  • Blankets and sleeping mats
  • N95 masks
  • Food (non-perishable only)
According to the LRT-1 management, donations will go to the affected residents of Bauan and Balayan, Batangas and Dasmariñas, Cavite. The donation drop-off schedule is from January 21 to 22 (Wednesday) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
