Leni-Kiko supporters hold motorcade in Zamboanga

Supporters of Vice President Leni Robredo in Zamboanga City participated in a series of activities to launch the former’s presidential campaign during the first day of campaign for national candidates.

The activity started with a holy mass at the University Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus at the Ateneo de Zamboanga University.

Thousands of supporters then trooped to the streets and participated in the Leni-KIko Grand campaign kick-off motorcade.

Wearing pink shirts, participants decorated their vehicles with pink balloons and ribbons as they passed by La Purisima, RT Lim Boulevard, the Zamboanga City Hall, Veterans Avenue and onwards to Pasonanca.

Supporters who were not able to join the motorcade brandished tarpaulins and signs showing their support for the vice president and her running mate, Senator Kiko Pangilinan.

Supporters ended their series of activities with a volunteer send off program at the Leni-Kiko Volunteer Center.
