Las Piñas City gov't distributes masks, sanitizers, among city's hospitals

The Las Piñas City government distributed 20,000 masks and 10,000 sanitizers to different hospitals located in the city to help protect frontliners, particularly health workers, as they continue the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The masks and sanitizers were equally distributed to the following hospitals: Las Piñas District Hospital, Pope Pius Hospital, Perpetual Help Medical Center, Las Piñas Medical Center, Las Piñas Lying In, Las Piñas Doctors Hospital, and Red Line Dialysis Center, and to the city's 30 health centers.
Mayor Imelda Aguilar also ordered the posting of signs along Alabang-Zapote Road, CAA Road, Marcos Alvarez Road, and C5 Extension going to the Bamboo Organ in Pulanglupa, Las Piñas, showing the guidelines on how to prevent being infected with and avoid spreading the coronavirus.
Last March 24, the city recorded seven cases confirmed cases of COVID-19, 17 persons under investigation, and 244 persons under monitoring.
The seven confirmed cases are in the following barangays: International CAA, 3 ; Pamplona 3, 1; Talon Cuatro, 1; and Zapote, 2.
Aguilar said that of the seven confirmed cases, one of them has already recovered.
