‘’We will never give up for our country’s sake.’’

Presidential aspirant Senator Panfilo Lacson issued this statement Monday, Feb. 14 to his supporters after pre-electoral survey results of Pulse Asia showed him far behind his rivals.
In that survey, former Senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr. led the pack with a 60 percent score. He was followed by Vice President Leni Robredo with 16 percent, and Senator Emmanuel Pacquiao and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno with eight percent apiece.
Lacson only garnered a four percent preference rating.
Over in the vice presidential race, Marcos’s running mate, Davao city Mayor Sara Duterte also dominated the field with a 50 percent preference rating while Lacson’s running mate, Senate President Vicente Sotto III, was a far second with 29 percent. Senator Francis Pangilinan was third with 11 percent.
Lacson, in his statement to his ‘’BRAVE’’ supporters, said: ‘’if you don’t see in the surveys the support that you feel on the ground, don’t get disheartened.’’
‘’Our fight to enlighten a benighted land shall continue in ways that are determined, decent, serious, and honest,’’he added.
Lacson’s election slogan, ’’BRAVE’’, stands for Budget Reform for Village Empowerment.
