Presidential aspirant Senator Panfilo M. Lacson on Wednesday, January 12 said that he has fully recovered from COVID-19 infection this week.
Lacson said he has no more symptoms but he would complete his quarantine period that ends Friday, January 14.
That will be his 10th day when he was tested positive last January 4.
The Department of Health (DOH) has stated that the isolation period is now cut to 10 days for those COVID-19 positive but are symptomatic and have mild to moderate symptoms or depending on a doctor’s advice.
Senators Lacson and Sherwin T. Gatchalian were the latest legislators to announce that they were COVID-19 positive.
There is still no update on the medical condition of Gatchalian but he announced in his Twitter account that he would conduct a hybrid public hearing tomorrow as chairman of the Senate Basic Education committee.
Last week, opposition Senator Francis ‘’Kiko’’ N. Pangilinan announced that he was COVID-19 positive but was later declared as negative based on his RT-PCR test that was repeated.
