The Korean embassy in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig is closing its consular office for three days starting Monday, July 20 to give way for disinfection after one of its security personnel tested positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

In an advisory, the embassy said the staff member was diagnosed on July 17.
"He has been on duty from Monday (July 13) to Friday (July 17), thus for those who have visited the office during the time should take note," the advisory said.
"In accordance with prescribed health protocols, the Consular Office of the Korean embassy will effect a temporary closure for three days to give way to disinfection from July 20 to July 22, 2020," it added.
The resumption of operations at the embassy will depend on the test results of its consular personnel.Â
