International travelers must observe strict protocols --Lacson
Senator Panfilo M. Lacson said on Wednesday he does not see any problem with the lifting of the suspension on non-essential travel by Filipinos, but with qualifications.

Lacson, chairman of the Senate national defense and security committee, said he agrees with the lifting ‘’as long as conditions are complied with and protocols are strictly observed, particularly on quarantine procedures upon their return to the country.’’
‘’That said, however, I do not see this encouraging Filipinos to travel. Who would be encouraged to travel in the middle of a worldwide pandemic?’’ he asked.
Despite the rise in coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases, the Philippine government announced last Tuesday (July 7) that all outbound travel restrictions have now been removed.
