Drug suspect nabbed in Mandaluyong; P527,000 worth of shabu, kush seized

Three individuals were arrested by elements of the Mandaluyong City Police in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Highway Hills, Mandaluyong City on March 25, the Eastern Police District (EPD) announced. The police identified the suspects as Lenber Garais, 19; John Ivan Datu, 30; and Ryan Christian Reyes, 24. Upon verification, Garais is tagged as a high value individual (HVI) wanted for illegal drugs and has a standing warrant of arrest issued by RTC Branch 280 Presiding Judge Hon. Restituto Velasco Mangalin Dan Jr. The police report said that the authorities have conducted a series of surveillance operations against the three suspects, and in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), held the buy-bust operation that ledÂ to their arrest. Recovered from the suspects were P520,000 worth of shabu, P7,000 high grade marijuana or kush, and the boodle money. EPD District Director Brig. Gen. Wilson Asueta lauded the operatives of the Mandaluyong City Police for the successful operation and stressed that it is a testament to the EPD's resolve in eradicating illegal drugs in the Metro East.
