Hagonoy Trade Fair opens in Bulacan


A trade fair in Hagonoy, Bulacan featuring a variety of products from 26 barangays in the town opened on Monday, March 27.

The Hagonoy Trade Fair was spearheaded by the Women's Council in the town led by Hagonoy Mayor Flordeliza  C. "Baby" Manlapaz and Vice Mayor Charo Sy-Alvarado-Mendoza. It was fully supported by the wives of the town's barangay captains.

Among these products are from the coastal Barangay Tibagin which include Dilis dried fish and bottle straw which were made from recycled materials. San Isidro village displayed different smoked fish including milkfish as well as salted eggs.

Meanwhile, Barangay Abulalas showcased its Filipino shrimp and vegetable fritters (Ukoy), while Barangays Iba and Carillo featured their freshly harvested vegetables.

Mayor Manlapaz and Vice Mayor Mendoza said theyheld the Trade Fair to introduce the variety of products made by women from different villages in the town of Hagonoy for them to earn during National Women's Month.
