Goma, Lucy to support Bongbong's presidential bid

TACLOBAN CITY - Ormoc's power couple, Mayor Richard and Leyte 4th Dist. Rep. Lucy Torres-Gomez has remained firm in their support for Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr.'s presidential bid, Monday (January 31).

Rep. Gomez who received various reactions from netizens after invoking God in support of a long-time friend shared the reason why he is the most vilified is that he is the most popular among the candidates.

In a lunch meeting in Manila with Marcos, Jr., Mayor Gomez stressed that the son of the late-former president has been helping their area for a longtime now.

"He has always been helping Ormoc in difficult times. During Yolanda, 'Odette,' 2017 earthquake, etc.," Goma shared.

He added that among the presidential contenders, he is the only one who has helped Ormoc in different ways.

In 2016, the couple has also supported BBM in his vice-president bid.
