GMA News TV channel is temporarily going off the air starting Thursday as the network scales down its operations amid the enhanced community quarantine placed over the whole of Luzon.
"Due to the current state of calamity, GMA News TV is temporarily signing off," read the network's statement released Wednesday on its 24 Oras.
According to broadcast journalist Raffy Tima, there will be no Balitanghali and State of the Nation with Jessica Soho starting Thursday.
Saksi will still continue to air, Tima said.
Meanwhile, Unang Hirit will only run for an hour and 30 minutes until Friday before going off the air beginning Monday "until further notice."
The entire mainland of Luzon has been placed under community quarantine until April 13.
