This was confirmed by DFA Undersecretary for Civilian Security and Consular Concerns Brigido Dulay in a statement released to the media.
Although healthy and asymptomatic, the OFW (overseas Filipino worker), according to Dulay, was put under quarantine in Hong Kong after her employer became the second person to succumb to 2019 novel coronavirus acute respiratory disease outside mainland China.
The OFW underwent a 14-day quarantine period, and, according to Dulay, is now resting in her employer’s home which was thoroughly sanitized by the Hong Kong Department of Health.
