Ex-DAR chief Castriciones joins Mayor Isko's senatorial ticket

Former Agrarian Reform secretary John Castriciones is now included in the Aksyon Demokratiko’s senatorial line up, party chair Ernest Ramel confirmed Thursday, Feb. 24.

"Former DAR Secretary John Castriciones is a welcome addition to the team. He will not only bring his integrity, experience and knowledge in helping out our farmers who are one of those closest to Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso's heart. Our standard bearer has repeatedly said that the lack of food security is a threat to national security," Ramel said in a statement.

"We are sure that Sec. Castriciones will provide more credence to Mayor Isko's platform of ensuring food security for the Filipinos and a better life to our farmers," he added.

Ramel said that Castriciones will be considered as a guest candidate "but exclusive to Mayor Isko and no other presidential candidates."

Castriciones is the fourth senatorial aspirant under presidential candidate and Manila mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso's senatorial ticket.

Joining him are Aksyon Demokratiko senatorial bets Samira Gutoc, Jopet Sison, and Carl Balita.

Castriciones, who is the president of Mayor Rodrigo Roa Duterte-National Executive Coordinating Committee (MRRD-NECC), recently handed over the Manifesto of Support to Domagoso during a press conference held at the Headquarters of the Isko Moreno Domagoso for President in Intramuros, Manila.

Domagoso had also earlier said he might adopt Castriciones in his senatorial ticket for the upcoming elections.
