Enchong Dee and Ria Atayde raise funds for COVID-19 frontliners

Enchong Dee and Ria Atayde are the latest celebrities who have made efforts to help those battling the spread of COVID-19 in the country.

The two actors began calling for donations of personal protective equipment and meals for front liners. In the span of 24 hours, they raised over P100,000 just from their friends and fans.

“It will take time before it the hospitals, so if we do it now, we will save so much lives,” Enchong said.

A total of 707 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been reported by the Department of Health as of press time. Death toll now at 45, while recoveries at 28.
