Hindi puwedeng luwagan ang mga hakbang na ating nilatag, isinasagawa,” Duque said in an interview with DZBB. Napalawig na natin ang testing at mayroon na tayong walong testing centers," said Duque, adding that it will give a more accurate picture of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) situation in the country. The Department of Health (DOH) confirmed on Saturday that 12 health experts from China are set to arrive in the country today to share their expertise on coronavirus disease. Tsaka 'yung mismo ating technical advisory group of experts, para magkumpara ng kanilang mga notes,” the health secretary said. Duque pointed out that in China, lockdown implementation lasted up to 55 days to curb the spread of the virus. Dapat bantayan pa rin natin,” he added. Luzon was placed under an enhanced community quarantine on March 17 due to the surge in the number of COVID-19 cases in the country. As of Saturday, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country has reached 3,094. Of those infected, 144 died and 57 recovered.
