DFA's report noted that Europe and the Middle East remain the leaders for confirmed cases among Filipino nationals abroad with almost 700 cases each.
Most of the recoveries, on the other hand, are reported in the Asia-Pacific region at 278 cases, while the Americas have the most number of deaths with 146 cases.
Meanwhile, the DFA facilitated the return of 182 overseas Filipinos stranded in Thailand via a chartered Air Asia flight.
This is the second DFA-funded flight from Bangkok, bringing the total number of repatriated land-based Filipino workers to more than 8,000.
