The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) reported on Wednesday that there are now 401 confirmed COVID-19 cases among overseas Filipinos, 33 of which are considered new cases.

This was reflected in the latest infographic released by the DFA, noting that four new deaths were reported in the European region.
Of the 401 COVID-19-stricken Filipinos abroad, 270 are said to be undergoing treatment in various hospitals and health facilities worldwide, while 118 have recovered from the disease.
“The DFA personnel in our foreign service posts continue to monitor the status of our people abroad and remain committed to ensuring their welfare,” the foreign affairs office said in a statement.
