Davao Region COVID-19 Update: 50 positive cases; six fatalities

By Warren Valdez DAVAO CITY – The Department of Health (DOH) Davao has confirmed that two patients under investigation (PUIs) have tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), bring the number of coronavirus disease patients in the region to 50. According to the report released by the DOH-Davao as of March 30, 8 p.m., there were also two new fatalities recorded, bringing the total of deaths caused by the disease to six in Davao Region. Davao City now has 41 COVID-19- positive patients, with four reported to have already already recovered, and six fatalities. Davao del Norte has four COVID-19 positive patients; Davao del Sur has two; Davao de Oro has one positive case; Davao Oriental has two cases; while Davao Occidental still remains free from COVID-19 infection.
