Criminology graduate killed in motorcycle accident

BACOLOD CITY – A criminology graduate was killed in a motorcycle accident in Barangay Gargato, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental on Sunday, March 26. The victim was identified as Mike Ellouise Vallejo, 23, of San Enrique, Negros Occidental. Capt. Leonel Adolacion, deputy chief of  the Hinigaran Municipal Police Station, said the victim was allegedly speeding on his way home when he overshot a gutter and crashed into a tree. Mike Ellouise had been joining drag races, thus, he would usually drive his motorcycle fast, according to his father. Adolacion said the victim probably failed to control his speed. The younger Vallejo suffered serious injuries due to the impact. The victim had no safety gear or a helmet, according to Adolacion.
