The number of novel coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) cases in Quezon City has risen to 2,028 based on information from the Department of Health as of 7 p.m. of May 27.
Like in previous records, this statistics differed from the total number of cases validated by the Quezon City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (QCESU) and District Health Offices which is 1,682 in the same time frame.
In the report of the Quezon City Health Department (QCHD), the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases with complete addresses in Quezon City is now at 1,852 while the active COVID-19 cases referring to those alive stood at 732.
As of 7 p.m. of May 27, Quezon City reported seven new recoveries, upping the total to 780 while one new death was reported, bringing the total death toll to 170.
