Coro San Benildo hosts online fund-raising concert for frontliners

By Gabriela Baron The resident chorale company of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, Coro San Benildo is hosting an online fund-raising concert for COVID-19 frontliners. "Coro Sessions Live!" will be serenading audiences from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. until April 25. The concert will feature soloists, recording artists, and singer-songwriters.
The initiative aims to put "forward art and entertainment" from the choir group's home to the Filipinos. "In these trying times, it's important not to lose track of the difference you can make," wrote the group on Facebook. Proceeds will be used to purchase medical supplies and food packs for the frontliners of the Philippine General Hospital and Benilde's neighboring barangays.
