Cagayan Valley region lists one more COVID-19 patient

By Liezle Basa Inigo  Another case of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) was recorded in Cagayan Valley region. Patient 3987 is 46 years old, female, health worker of Santiago City, Isabela. She is in the database of the Epidemiology Bureau of the Department of Health (DOH), Region 2. She has a travel history from New Clark City on March 4 as she was part of a group of health workers who assisted in quarantine operations for OFW's aboard the Diamond Princess Cruise Ship. Cagayan PIO reported that PH 3987 returned to Santiago City on March 13. She had home quarantine before returning to work as a health worker at Southern Isabela Medical Center (SIMC). PH 3987 experienced swelling of the throat on March 31 and consulted on April 6. She was then tested for COVID-19 and found out she was positive one day after taking the test.
