MALOLOS, Bulacan – The Bulacan Provincial Health Office (PHO) reported five new deaths related to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the province, bringing the total to 21, as of Thursday (April 16) evening.
The five fatalities were a 69-year-old man from Norzagaray, a 67-year-old woman from Bocaue, a 69-year-old man from Obando, and a 72-year-old woman and 50-year-old man, both from Meycauayan City.
The Bulacan PHO-PH also confirmed that three positive new cases of COVID-19 have been added to the record. The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the province of Bulacan is now 74.
The Health officials said that the three new patients were a 16-year-old girl, and a 67-year-old female from Bocaue; and a 69-year-old man from Norzagaray.
Meanwhile, the latest report on the number of COVID-19 probable cases in Bulacan is at 49, while the suspected cases are 299.
