Some 487,200 doses of AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines will be arriving in the country at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow. The shipment, according to Senator Christopher ‘’Bong’’ Go, would be met by him and President Duterte.

Go, chairman of the Senate health and demography committee, failed to state where the vaccines would be unloaded. The vaccines represents the World Health Organization (WHO)-sponsored COVAX facility.
(I hope that this signals a continuing vaccine roll out and vaccination as we try to get the trust of our countrymen for the vaccines that are the keys to the gradual normalization of our lives),’’ Go said.
Ang bakuna po ang papatay sa sakit na COVID-19 (Don’t be afraid of vaccination, be afraid of COVID-19. The vaccine will kill the COVID-19 virus),’’ he said.
Last Sunday, President Duterte was at Villamor Airbase in Pasay city to witness the arrival of China-donated Sinovac vaccines.
