“We have lost a remarkable doctor, a good friend, and mentor to our budding health care workers,” said the Asian Hospital in a statement.
The institution said Dr. Mary Grace Lim passed away after succumbing to COVID-19.
“We honor her as a great patient safety advocate who was an instrument in sealing the deal our third Joint Commission International Reaccreditation,” the hospital stated.
“She has affected and helped countless lives in her wonderful journey Asian Hospital and Medical Center,” it said.
Though it admitted that a lingering sorrow hovers over the hospital because of her passing, the institution assured this has strengthened its resolve to keep fighting the disease.
“Asian Hospital, especially the Department of Emergency Medicine and Quality Management Department, may have lost a great frontliner to COVID-19, but as one family, we promise her and our countrymen, now more than ever, that we will remain unfazed and will keep on fighting to finally put an end to this pandemic,” it added.
